Habit tracking is simple in theory and hard to maintain. This template makes the maintenance nearly invisible while giving you the data that keeps you motivated — streaks, completion rates, and milestone rewards.
The Habits database is where you define what you want to track. Each habit gets a category (Health, Mind, Productivity, Finance, Social, Creative, Spiritual), a frequency target, difficulty level, and optional habit stack anchor. The Current Streak and Best Streak formulas pull from the Daily Tracker through a relation — check a box on your daily log and your streak updates automatically.
The Daily Tracker is your check-in interface. Each day gets one row per habit with a Done checkbox, count field (for habits you do multiple times), and notes. The Day of Week and Week formulas group your entries for the heatmap and weekly review.
The Milestones database is the motivation engine. Set streak targets and rewards for each habit — “30-day streak = new running shoes” — and check them off when you hit the target. The Weekly Review auto-calculates your completion rate and prompts reflection on challenges and next week’s focus.
